A cross-browser extension for Firefox, Zen Browser, and Chromium-based browsers that detects misinformation, debunks fake news, and balances political reporting using a council of 5 AI agents powered by Ollama.

How It Works

Five AI personas each analyse the article from a different angle:

  • Dr. Veritas — Forensic fact and claim verifier. Extracts concrete dates, statistics, and verifiable claims.
  • Auditor Vance — Rhetoric and spin auditor. Scrutinises headline clickbait, emotional framing, and selective omissions.
  • Prof. Spectrum — Political spectrum and bias inspector. Maps perspectives across Left, Centre, and Right leaning outlets.
  • Inspector Sentinel — Provenance and forum sceptic. Flags rumours, unconfirmed sources, and social media posts.
  • Chairman Aristotle — Consensus arbitrator. Computes a consensus credibility score (0–100%) and publishes the official verdict.

Features

  • Three-stage debate pipeline: parallel claim audit, cross-examination, and chairman synthesis.
  • Political neutrality framing matrix showing Left, Centre, and Right perspectives.
  • Works with local Ollama instances or hosted cloud endpoints.
  • Automatic article extraction filters ads, navbars, and cookie banners.
  • Reddit and forum detection with unverified-source warnings.
  • Local hash caching to avoid duplicate inference.
